After careful consideration, we've made the decision to permanently discontinue Phish.observer. We're no long accepting new reports signups or API requests.

What happens next?

All existing data has been destroyed. This includes all user data, submitted reports, and everything we stored about the sites we scanned.

But why?

Phish.observer never really took off. Services like URLScan are superior in many ways, including accuracy at detecting phishing. Running this service was unfortunately costing too much to keep paying for out of pocket, so the decision was made to discontinue the project.
